In concert with
institutional
planning and
effectiveness and
undergraduate
studies, develop a
plan to meet the
BOG/BOT graduation
performance targets
for FTIC and AA
transfers from
Florida Community
Colleges (see next
slide). By
September 15th,
identify the FTICs
who entered in 2001
and 2003 and the AA
transfers
who entered in 2005
and 2003, and
determine how many
students are likely
to graduate within
the projected
timeline of two,
four or six years.
Survey students to
determine their
intention to
complete their
degree at FIU and
implement a recovery
plan to retain those
who express an
interest in leaving
prior to degree
completion.
-
Prepare quarterly
updates on BOG/BOT
performance targets
for submission to
the BOT-Academic
Affairs and Students
Life Committee.
-
Prepare first-year
to second-year
retention report for
new FTIC and
transfer students
who entered in
2004. Additionally,
group FTICs entering
in Fall 2005 and
track and encourage
their academic
progress to ensure
an 83.5% first-year
to second-year
retention rate BY
Fall 2006.
-
Collect data and
program information
to prepare annual
Equity and Access
Report.
-
In consultation with
the Enrollment
Services Student
Advisory Board,
develop an
instrument to assess
student satisfaction
with key service
providers such as
admissions,
registration,
financial aid and
student financial
services. Share
survey results with
advisory board/key
administrators and
make recommendations
for service
improvement where
necessary.
