MAC1114 - FIU

Summer C 2008

Welcome to the online version of Trigonometry (MAC 1114). Students who have not yet logged on to my WebCT site at estudent.fiu.edu need to. This site does not include the discussion board that contains many important announcements. All of your lectures will be QuickTime movies that will be accessible from this web site. To view them, you must have QuickTime software, a free download, installed on your computer. Click on the movies button below to access the lessons. Students without an Internet connection can send Mike an email to request the movies on CDs.

PREREQUISITE: To take this course you must have a C or higher in College Algebra and must not have previous credit in Precalculus (MAC 2147). Students who do not satisfy this requirement will be dropped from the course.

Each day check the syllabus to see what section(s) you should be working on. Then access the lesson by clicking on the Movies button. Watch all the assigned movies for each section. The test questions will be very similar to the homework. While it is OK to work ahead, DO NOT FALL BEHIND.

If your new textbook was not bundled with a Student Access Code, you need to:

Go to your campus bookstore to buy the standalone Student Access Kit (kit contains access code card and instructions) for your textbook (I'm working on this, I don't think the bookstore has it)
