Project Member Online Application Form

Welcome to the Youth Development Project Member Application Form. Both undergraduate and graduate students can participate as members of in the Youth Development Project. The first step for both undergraduate and graduate applicants is to submit an online application form. After you have been accepted, you may sign up for academic credit for participating at the levels described below.

For Undergraduate Credit Hours
- Psychosocial Interventions in Field Settings Senior Lab Requirement for Psychology Majors. Psychology majors are eligible to sign up for Psychosocial Intervention in Field Settings Senior Lab For Psychology Majors (DEP-4720: Lecture + Lab) as their advanced senior lab and complete their field placement as part of the Youth Development Project. - Psychology Field Experience. If you are participating at the undergraduate level for field placement credit you must sign up for PSY 4941/4916 Independent Field Experiences in Psychology under Dr. Kurtines’s section. You must sign up for 3 hours of field placement credit each semester you are in the intern program. This credit is only given Pass/Fail. You must apply for Youth Development Project Intern Program before you can sign up for credit for this course. Click here for the PSY 4941/4916 Independent Field Experience Syllabus
For Graduate Credit Hours
- Clinical Practicum and/or Clinical Internship. If you are participating at the graduate level for Clinical Practicum and/or Clinical Internship you must coordinate this directly through Dr. Kurtines (kurtines@fiu.edu)
- Credit For Licensure. If you are participating in the Intern Program at a graduate level for supervised credit for licensure you must coordinate this directly through Dr. Kurtines (kurtines@fiu.edu)
