Registration Information
1) If
you live in South Florida and have not attended FIU in the past two terms, you
must register in person at the Registrar's Office (PC 130). Once you have a PIN
number or access code, you can register by phone on the automated system
(305-348-1500) or on the Web (http://sis.fiu.edu).
2) Get
a Class Schedule at the Registrar's Office. This booklet, published in
late November for the Spring semester, early July for the Fall, contains
registration forms, instructions, fees, and schedules –everything you need!
3)
Bring to the Registrar's Office copies of your: Driver's License, Vehicle
Registration, Voter Registration, Resident Alien Card, or other document showing
your Florida address going back at least one year –if you qualify as a Florida
resident "for tuition purposes."
4) If applicable, fill out the "Non-Degree Seeking Student Application Form" in the Class Schedule or print it from the Web by clicking "Forms Online" at the Student Information System Website (http://sis.fiu.edu).
Certificate Program Application
After you have started on courses SPT 3800 and/or 3812, if you decide to pursue a certificate, you should fill out an "Certificate Program Application" available at the Registrar's Office, the Program Director's office, or on the Web in printable PDF format by clicking "Forms Online" at the Student Information System Website (http://sis.fiu.edu).
Before you
can be admitted to the T&I Program, you must:

fully bilingual
Have a
minimum of two (2) years of college (60
credits) or equivalent work experience.
