Dear FIU and MDC students,

You are part of a bigger community and you are encouraged to get involved.  There are some non-profit organizations that I personally support and I invite you to register as volunteers.  The work of the volunteers varies with the organization and the events, but it's always fun...

The following non-profit foundations may be planning some events this year in Miami:

bulletThe Foundation for the Advancement of Higher Education, Inc.: To help all people reach their highest potential!;
bulletThe Saint-Louis de Gonzague Alumni Foundation, Inc. is having a Grand Gala on Saturday July 24, 2004 at the Marriott Hotel in downtown Miami;
bulletThe Wyclef Jean Foundation;
bulletThe Gaskov Clerge Foundation, promoting science, health, education and sports.  Educating and Serving Together!
bulletFoundation for Worldwide Mercy and Sharing  www.haitichildren.org

Please feel free to send me your comments and your contact information.  You will be randomly contacted for the events.  In return, you will receive certificates of appreciation and letters of recommendation.  Please know that working as volunteers will NEVER be counted for a class grade.

Thanks,

Pavlov
