ATTENTION ALL COLLEGE ALGEBRA STUDENTS!

MAC1105L is being offered in the SPRING 2007 Term

Starting January 8, 2007 on:

 Monday 1:25-3:05 PM Room 2215 ref# 408190

or Monday 5:40-7:20 PM Room TBA ref# 408191

Instructor: Prof. Bernard Mathon

                        The activities in this lab class will not only help you understand the material of College Algebra, but will also provide you with a wonderful enrichment experience.

            In this lab, you will:

          Familiarize yourself with the use of a graphing calculator;

          Use a graphing calculator to explore the graphs of various functions studied in the College Algebra lectures;

          Work collaboratively with classmates on small group projects or experiments that will lead to a deeper understanding of the concepts and ideas studied in the College Algebra lecture.

            Education Majors:

                        Please note that the recommended mathematics courses are: MAC1105 + MAC1105L, MTG2204 + MTG2204L, MGF1120.

                        These courses combine for a total of the nine credits of math that will provide a good foundation for future educators.
