Membership in SSHD is open to professionals and students interested in the interdisciplinary study of human development across the lifespan. The benefits of SSHD membership includes a reduced rate for registration at the annual meeting and a free online subscription to the official journal of the society, Research In Human Development (a print version journal option is also available).

The cost of membership is $95 for professionals and $40 for students and postdocs per calendar year (due Dec. 1).
