August 25, 2008  Classes begin
August 27, 2008 Last day to be placed in your practicum/internship without being dropped from corresponding group supervision course. Commitment for Contract for Placement Due. Form found in Practicum & Internship Manual located in your Student Handbook.
September 2, 2008  Last day to complete late registration. Drop/Add period ends.
Last day to drop courses or withdraw from the University without incurring a financial liability.
September 3, 2008 Proof of Student Liability Insurance Due (See Practicum & Internship Manual located in your Student Handbook)
September 19, 2008  Last day to apply for Fall 2008 graduation on PantherSoft. (See Graduation Information)

Last day to apply for Spring   Practicum/Internship placement.

October 3, 2008  Last day to submit FORM M1: Appointment for Thesis Committee for students planning to graduate Summer 2009. (See UGS manual http://www.fiu.edu/%7Eugs/thesis_dissertation_manual.html)
October 6, 2009 Spring Registration open 
October 15, 2008 Last day to schedule Certification for Graduation Meeting with Dr. Arango and turn in all forms for graduation (See Graduation Information) 
October 23, 2008  Last day to submit FORM M3: Preliminary Approval of Thesis and Request for Oral Defense for students who plan to graduate Summer 09.(See UGS manual http://www.fiu.edu/%7Eugs/thesis_dissertation_manual.html)
October 17, 2008 Deadline to drop a course with a DR grade. Deadline to withdraw from the University with a WI grade.
November 14, 2008 Draft of the Case Conceptualization Due.
Please provide your committee members with the draft of your CC for review.
You will need to correct and submit a final copy at the end of the semester. (See Student Handbook for further instructions)

 
November 27 & 28, 2008 Thanksgiving Holiday
December 4, 2008 Last day to submit Declaration of Area of Specialization for students ending their second semester.

Last day to submit final copy of the Case Conceptualization for students who plan to graduate Spring 08 (please submit CC with approval page signed by all committee members)

 Last day to pay tuition and fees to avoid cancellation of enrollment.

Last day to register without incurring a $100 late fee.

Any class added after 5/2/08 (Summer A & C) or 6/24/08 (Summer B) must be paid for on the same day to avoid the late payment fee.
